FEV began as a math problem, not a product. Ideas here are tested against the data, and the strongest argument wins, whoever makes it.
A small team with real ownership
A handful of people oversee a process that values thousands of portfolio companies every day, so each of us owns a real part of it, from the models to the pipeline to what clients see.
Problems with no settled answer
Valuing private assets every day, at scale, is a young field, so many of the problems we take on have not been solved before.
Why the work matters
Pension funds, endowments and the savers behind them hold a growing share of their money in private assets, and those assets are reported weeks to months late. We give them a value every trading day.
FEV is independent and run by its three co-founders, so decisions are made close to the work. The team is small, the pace is quick, and what you build reaches the clients who rely on it.
